    Matthaeusareal, Frankfurt am Main

A new ensemble of a church and a high-rise is being developed between the main railway station and the trade fair. Our entry proposes a block structure that creates a sheltered communal space within the dense urban context. The historic tower of St. Matthew’s Church is preserved as a defining landmark and point of identity. Together with Manuel Herz Architekten and the entire team we are delighted to have been awarded 3rd prize in the competition!
